Christopher Mcknight Obituary
He was born in Ware, MA on June 29, 1973 and attended school in the Athol – Orange area. His family roots were in western Mass.
He led a gypsy lifestyle working and living up and down the East coast. A highlight of his life were the years he spent working and traveling with the Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Chris had a fun, loving, open heart and always accepted everyone just as they were.
He is survived and will be sorely missed by his mother Ivy Handschuh and step-father John Handschuh of Charlemont, his father William McKnight and step-mother Laura McKnight of Athol, brothers Billy McKnight of West Brookfield and Joseph McKnight of New York, a sister Melissa Jackson of Greenfield, three children Justice, Tristin and Autumn Rose, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Visiting hours will be Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00pm at the Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, 87 Franklin St., Greenfield. The memorial service will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
A reception will follow the service at the Greenfield Lodge of Elks # 1296, located on the corner of Federal and Church Streets.

I am so very saddened by Chris's passing.
I will always remember that little boy with long hair looking in our window on Summer St.
