Jacqueline Patnode-Kulch Obituary
Greenfield, MA — Jacqueline A. (Walsh) Patnode-Kulch, 78, passed away at home on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Born in Rochester, NY on May 1, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Richard L. Walsh, Sr and Hilda M. (Burdo) Walsh. She was a graduate of Greenfield High School and Greenfield Community College, and was an insurance underwriter until retirement. She married Robert Kulch on February 17, 1988.
Jacckie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed flower gardening, watching the Red Sox, dancing (especially to rock and roll music), snowmobiling in past years, and spending time with her family and her cat, Jason.
Survivors include her husband Robert; six children: Arthur Patnode (wife Melissa), Richard Patnode, Angela Spalding (husband Phil) Terri Patnode, Marc Kulch (husband Juan) and Christopher Kulch; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves 5 siblings: Cindy Aiston (husband Dan), Susan Martin (partner Dick Sevene), Jeanne Tiefenauer, Richard Walsh (wife Evelyn) and Thomas Walsh (wife Daryl) as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Gary and Michael Walsh.
At Jackie's request, there will be no calling hours at the funeral home. At a later date to be announced, there will be a graveside service with a celebration of life to follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Home, 14 High Street, Greenfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Franklin County Regional Dog Shelter, 2 Sandy Lane, Turners Falls, MA 01376.
