I sung in the Hilltown Choral Society with Michael when we were teenagers. Coming from Worthington, it was my introduction to the wonderful Martin family, and I have enjoyed every interaction since. My sincere condolences to all of the family. My heart is sad for your loss, and full of gratitude for you all as friends and neighbors. I wish you peace and love.

So sorry Jim and family. Janet was certainly a large presence in Cummington, she spoke her mind and meant it. She always wanted the best for our town and helped in all aspects to make that happen. A true volunteer. We will remember her fondly. May she RIP and know her contributions will not be forgotten.

from the first day Janet came to our church in Chesterfield she was one of us..........she made us laugh, she made us cry, she helped everywhere she could, and she was incredibly generous. We didn't know her as long as so many of you did, but we enjoyed her company during the time we had. Our sincere condolences to all who loved Janet.
