Janet Spencer Obituary
Charlton, MA - Janet Spencer, died peacefully January 9, 2024 in Charlton, Massachusetts. She was a longtime resident of Greenfield Massachusetts.Janet was the daughter of Ross and Elizabeth Spencer, she is predeceased by her two brothers Ross and Rodman.
She was the mother of 5 children, Debra, Donna, David, Dorothy, and Diane. Grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She graduated from Stoneleigh Burnham School and The University of Massachusetts. Janet was a teacher at heart, always sharing her wealth of knowledge with others. A school teacher, a social worker and a ski, and swim instructor. She received multiple awards for her service to the community.
Her family would like to thank the LifePath staff in Greenfield and Overlook Masonic Home of Charlton for their wonderful and loving care of our mother.
There will be a private service and burial. In lieu of flowers please donate to LifePath or Stoneleigh Burnham School in Greenfield, MA.
