Joann Colucci
Miami, FL — Joann Colucci, 68, of Miami, FL died peacefully Sunday 10/17/21 at Mercy Hospital in Miami, FL. Born in Greenfield, MA on May 3, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Organ) Colucci.
She attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and Greenfield High School - Class of 1971. After attending Newbury Junior College in Boston, she set out to travel the world and work in the tourism industry, where she enjoyed incredible adventures and formed lasting relationships across the globe. Choosing to settle in Coconut Grove / Miami, Joann went on to establish a successful career in commercial real estate while devoting her time raising her son Casey whom she considered to be her best friend in life.
Joann had an infectious personality, and filled each room and interaction with energy and happiness. Often the "life of the party", her kindness, compassion, and positivity were contagious. Always smiling and laughing, she prioritized others over herself, like a true mom. Blessed with an incredible support system comprised of family, friends, and loved ones across the two communities she called home – Greenfield, MA and Miami, FL—it could be said that she offered as much support as she received. Her interests included singing/music, tennis, biking, gym, traveling, cooking, watching the New England Patriots, and doting on her beloved coton de tulear dog, Leo.
She is survived by her beloved son, Casey Colucci of Miami, FL; a sister, Rosemary Colucci of Boston; a brother, Arthur Colucci, Jr. of Boynton Beach, FL. First, second, and third maternal and paternal cousins are too numerous to name; suffice to say she was loved by all of her family.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday 10/27/21 from 6-8PM at Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal Street, Greenfield.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 10/28 at 9:15am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 20 Federal Street, Greenfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Greenfield. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Greenfield.

So very sad to find out about your loss Casey, Rosemary and Art. I have such fond memories of being out and about back in the day, at Copperfields, Marathon Day at the Eliot Hotel. My prayers and love are for you during this time of deep sadness and loss!

Dear Casey,
I wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear about losing your mom, Joann. We didn't have much contact since the days at Sunset Elementary, but I have fond memories of her-- such an upbeat and lively person. Remi and I have good memories of waiting with you and your mom for the bus in Coco grove. I wish you strength in getting through this time and so glad to hear that you were able to be with her to the end.
