CONWAY, MA - Kathleen J. "Kathy" Bennett, 79, of River Street in Conway passed peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2025, after a brief period of failing health. Kathy was born in Montague, a daughter of the late Stanley J. Eaton Sr. & Marguerite (Weeks) Eaton. She was a lifelong Conway resident, attending local schools and graduating from Frontier Regional High School. She played field hockey on both the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams for the Redskins with Coach Vi Goodnow. Kathy worked for many years with J K Electronics and Wesco before retiring. She married Warren D. Bennett Jr., and they had many years of family, memories and happiness before his passing in 2001. Kathy was a member of the Conway Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary, helping support the volunteer department by raising money for equipment and the ambulance fund. Kathy enjoyed working in the yard and gardening. She loved spending time with family and taking long road trips with her daughter Tammy to the coasts of Maine and New Hampshire. Kathy was predeceased by her dear husband Warren D. Bennett and her sister-in-law, Laurie Eaton of FLA. She leaves her devoted daughter, Tammy S. Bennett of Conway. Her brother Stanley J. Eaton Jr. of Port Charlotte, FLA. Sister-in-law Barbara Bennett and brother-in-law Bruce Bennett and his wife Debbie all of Sunderland, brother-in-law Ted Bennett and his wife Nancy of Texas and several nieces, nephews and cousins. At Kathy's request there are no calling hours, and a private burial will be held in North Sunderland Cemetery alongside her husband, Warren.
