Linda Jones Obituary
Northfield, MA - Linda L. Jones, 77, of Northfield, MA died Thursday (6-27-2024) at her home. She was born in Needham, MA on March 1, 1947 the daughter of George and Helen (Ravinski) Livingston. On June 7, 1970 she married Bruce Jones, who predeceased her in 2011. She worked for many years at the former Rugg Lumber as a bookkeeper, then for a time at Brockway-Smith in Hatfield, and as a salesperson at Wilson's Department Store in Greenfield. Her granddaughter Adaryn was the greatest pride of her life. She was a prolific reader of mystery novels, loved baking for her family and was a lover of all animals.
She is survived by her daughter Courtney Hagar and her husband Christopher of Easthampton, MA and her son Matthew and his wife Amanda of Vernon, Vt. She is also survived by her granddaughter Adaryn and her brother Scott Livingston and his wife Dianne of Pensacola, FL.
Funeral Services will be Saturday (7-6-2024) from the Kidder Funeral Home, 1 Parker Ave, Northfield, MA at 10:15 A.M. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church, 80 Main St., Northfield, MA at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at a later time.
Calling hours will be Friday evening (7-5-2024) from 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
Donations in her memory may be made to Dakin Animal Shelter, 1781 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105.
