FLORENCE, MA - Manuel De Jesús Leyton-Palacios, age 40, of Florence, MA, passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2025. Born in Nicaragua, Manuel overcame tremendous odds. He worked hard 7 days a week and still had energy to play soccer religiously. He had an unusual zest for life. Manuel was the proud owner of Leyton Landscaping & Construction and Bear River Landscaping. He was quick to call anyone his friend and was widely known for his charisma, and huge smile. His legacy lives on in the gardens, homes, and community spaces he helped shape-and in his children, who carry forward his spirit and strength.

Manuel leaves behind his beloved children: Violet, age 13; Lukas, age 7 of Ashfield; and his adult sons Hayson and Bryan of Florence and 7 siblings, 56 cousins, mother and step father, and large extended family in Nicaragua.

He will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched across Western Massachusetts and Nicaragua.
