I attended high school with Mike where he was in most of my classes - notably our senior year physics class in which Mike was a star and I was not. He helped me out with homework during free periods in the senior lounge. I teased him mercilessly which he always took with a good sense of humor. I truly enjoyed these sessions together. I think I only saw Mike once after graduation, shortly before he had his stroke, but I kept track of him through mutual friends. He was a remarkably man.

I grew up with Mike from an early age & together we made heads turn at temple Israel. We were friends all our lives & I always tried to get him back to greenfield for reunions. Once he drove half way but turned around. Our families were great friends, my mother went to smith with Elaine, my dad & Mijes dad were close friends & entertained each other for decades. Mike was an avid ham radio user as a kid. He went to Bement, I did not as they decided both of us could not be on campus at the same time. Later, I had the dubious distinction of chairing Bement board of trustee´s as our boys attended. Mike was always about everyone else. He was a great person of his own making & will be missed by many in greenfield. The stroke was devastating to all but he carried on his way always. I will personally miss him as I tried to connect on his birthday 2/21 but this year both phones were disconnected & for that, I knew the end was coming. He is just moving on & I will see him again.
