This began 34 years of service often behind the scenes impacting many individuals, families with developmental disabilities at Pineland Center and Children's Mental Health Services. It is with a saddened heart that I learned of Ned´s passing. Ned was a kindred spirit with whom I shared many experiences. From our high school years, weekly trips to Easthampton in my ´49 Buick to attend dances at the Franco-American Club; sharing our military experiences, Ned was my impetus for transferring from the Air Force to the Army; revisiting life as we both moved past middle age, jobs, careers, and relationships; and while my visits to Maine were few, the last several years we shared time together via email and phone calls.
When Brenda called with the news of his passing I cried. Reading his obituary now, I know that he led a good life, a full life, a positive, and caring life. His life was blessed with Brenda.
I miss him dearly.
