Robert Hall Obituary
Northfield, MA - Robert D. Hall Jr. of Northfield and formerly Needham, MA died at home in hospice care January 20, 2023. He was 95 years old. He leaves behind his devoted loving wife Celine Chabot-Hall and 6 children from his wife Jane Judson Hall who predeceased him in 2010. Robert loved his big happy family which has grown to include 10 grand children, 14 great grand children, and 2 great great grandchildren. Calling hours will be 4-7 on Thursday January 26 at Kidder Funeral Home 1 Parker Ave. Northfield, Mass. Full obituary will be available later on legacy.com. The family wishes to thank caregiver Debbie Dion of Winchester,N.H. and Compassus Hospice of Northampton, Ma.

I am is so sad to hear of Bob's passing, and extend my most sincere affection and condolences to Celine and Bob's family. Bob was a long time and active member of the Needham History Center, and also my colleague on the town's Historical Commission. For many years, Bob was my collaborator on our newsletter, and "Ye Olde Editor" (as we called him) wrote many a fascinating article for us to enjoy. Rest in peace, Bob!

Our family was fortunate to live next to the Halls in Needham and I will be forever grateful for their friendship and kindness over the years. Bob was always larger-than-life and full of energy and entertaining stories. My deepest condolences to all the Hall family.
