Robert Tyler Obituary

Robert L. Tyler

Wendell, MA - Robert "Bob" L. Tyler, 58, of Center St. passed away Tuesday April 22, 2025, at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester. He was born in Turners Falls on December 13, 1966, the son of Malcolm and Eileen (Galipault) Tyler. Bob grew up in Bernardston where he attended local schools and graduated from Pioneer Valley Regional High School in 1985.

Bob grew up working on his family farm raising beef cows. He worked briefly at Lane Concrete as a mason after High School, followed by Cersosimo Lumber in Brattleboro, VT as a mason and carpenter for over 20 years. He then found and worked his dream job as a lathe operator at Peterman's Boards and Bowls in Gill, MA for almost 10 years.

Hobbies include deer hunting, fishing and collecting Johnny West action figures. He was an avid football fan, supporting the local teams that his grandsons played on. In addition, he always loved raising cows and had recently gotten back into it with his grandsons.

Bob leaves his wife Martha Senn, a daughter Shanna Clark and partner Jason Rider, a son Nick Clark and wife Missy, and six grandsons: Zachary Haskell, Jaxon Silva, Owen Clark, Colton Rider, Kasen Rider and Malcolm Rider.

He also leaves his siblings; Walter (Tim) Tyler of Veron, VT, Leonard Tyler and wife Lori of Greenfield, Dennis Tyler and wife Elaine of Northfield, Thomas Tyler and wife Debbie of Bernardston, David Tyler and wife Christine of Greenfield, Donald Tyler and wife Kristin of Northfield and Diane (Tyler) Rice and husband Steve of Bernardston along with 35 nieces and nephews and 37 great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday April 30, 2025, at 11 AM at Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Sq. Turners Falls.
