Ronald Charest Obituary
Wilbraham, MA - Ronald F. Charest, 86, formerly of Turners Falls died Wednesday 1/10/24 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born in Montague on December 2, 1937, the son of Phillip J. and Blanche (Cadieux) Charest and brother to Paul Charest of Erving MA.
Ronald attended local schools in Montague and was a graduate of Turners Falls High School, Class of 1956.
Ronald served in the United States Navy.
He was a purchasing agent analyst for Connecticut Mutual for many years before his retirement.
Besides his beloved wife, Carol (Millagan) Charest, Ronald leaves three sons, Craig Charest of Feeding Hills, Keith Charest and his wife Carrie of Orange and Kevin Charest and his husband Walter of Salem, OR; a daughter, Cheryl Canty of Terrimack, FL; and two grandchildren, Dominic and Cory Canty of FL.
Funeral services will be held Friday 1/19 at 11am at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Turners Falls.
There will be no calling hours.

Our deepest condolences to the family of Ron I was in tears when I found out that Ron passed away we met Ron and Carol at the senior center and became friends I had them over for dinner at the house many times we will miss them so much
