Timothy Parsons Obituary

HADLEY - Timothy Eldridge Parsons, age 33, passed away unexpectedly April 6, 2018 at Baystate Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Tim was born November 27, 1984. He is survived by his loving parents Earle (Chip) and Sharon (Spencer) Parsons of Hadley and his sister Amy Parsons. He also leaves his grandmother Shirley Parsons of Hadley and was predeceased by grandparents Earle Parsons, Don and Karen Spencer of Southwick. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins will miss him dearly. Tim had the patience and ability to teach his cousins and others about the farm, teaching a few of them how to drive a tractor. He will be missed by his many loyal friends and his cat G.G.
Tim graduated from Hopkins Academy in 2003 and the State University of New York at Cobleskill in 2006 with an associate degree in agricultural engineering. He currently worked with his family at Earle M. Parsons and Sons, Inc. and previously enjoyed working at Amherst Farmers' Supply. Tim was a life-long lover of music and played the trombone. As a 4Her, he showed sheep, goats, and swine at fairs. He was a member of the Three County Fair Association. Tim had a keen interest in learning history throughout his life along with a knack for working on vehicles and was always willing to help his friends fix their cars and trucks.

The funeral will be held Thursday, April 12th  at 11:00a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Hadley on Middle Street. Burial will follow at the Old Hadley Cemetery on Cemetery Road in Hadley. To the entire Parsons Family, namingly Chip, Sharon and Amy...there are no words to write and nor condolences to share to help ease your pain, however the brief time that we had Tim in our employ, you could tell that he was loved and that he had a deep sense of farm, friends, and most importantly Family. Tim was a thinker on his feet, a RARE quality to find these days, and we were blessed to have employed him and helped him grow through his earlier years. Please accept condolences from our entire Amherst Farmers Supply family, we will miss him, may you find comfort in knowing that he is now God. May he rest in peace.
