David Edwards Obituary
On Saturday, April 19th, David Woodward Edwards passed away peacefully at home per his wishes. He was welcomed with open arms in heaven by his parents, Sam and Rosella, his sister Joan and daughter Debbie. Dave is survived by his loving wife of almost 35 years Tammy, his children Jenelle Vetterick of Porterville, Scott Edwards of Montana, Fawn Seaman of Porterville, Nicole Tomasch of Oregon, and countless grand and great-grand children.
Dave was born in Porterville on November 15, 1941. He moved to the LA area for several years, then returned to Porterville. He finally settled in Springville where he remained until his passing. Dave worked at Sierra Forest Products Saw Mill as a Lumber Grader for almost 30 years retiring in 2000 due to hack issues.
Dave enjoyed going to Lake Success on his boat with his family and friends creating lasting memories. He was taught to fly by Ken Billingsly and obtained his pilots license. The two became great friends and flew to many locations together.
Over the years, Dave made many lifelong friends, many that he considered family. Dave loved his family. He was quite the jokester and had a distinct laugh. If you were lucky enough to get the "middle finger", this was just his way of saying he loved you. He will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of life has been scheduled for Monday, July 28, 2025 from 4-7 PM at the Eagles Lodge in Porterville, CA. Bring your pictures and stories to share about Dave.

My brother John Maure, whom has passed away went to school with David in Compton California. He always asked if he could borrow my bike so he could ride with my brother. I´m very sad to hear of his passing for. I love him very much David rest in peace, my dear. Love always Barbara Maure Bernotas
