David Leming Obituary

David E. Leming

Sept. 6, 1934 Aug. 17, 2025

David E. Leming, age 90, of Grants Pass, died August 17, 2025 at his home.

David was born to Earl and Ruth Leming in Porterville, California in 1934. He graduated from Porterville High School, where he excelled in track, hurdles and football.

David established himself as a citrus rancher in the 1960s. He enjoyed designing and constructing homes as well as being a Real Estate Broker and having a State Farm Insurance Agency for many years until he retired.

David's family includes his beloved wife Faith Raimer-Leming, a brother Donald, sons Stephen and Timothy, daughter Sandra, four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Alice and Jean.

His main love, after the Lord Jesus Christ, was music and golf. Over the span of his lifetime, he shared his gifted voice in many venues, including in an acapella quartet, at numerous weddings and funerals, as a member and soloist in the choir and musical director for his church.

David was a man among men who stood out for his humility, integrity, character and kindness shown to all he knew. Anyone who met him wanted to be his friend and he was a friend for life.

His spirit has gone home to Heaven, but the warmth of his love will remain in our hearts for the rest of our lives and beyond.
