Cynthia Ghilarducci Obituary
August 27, 1950 – September 19, 2025
Cynthia Lynn Ghilarducci, 75 years young, passed away peacefully at Bakersfield Heart Hospital on Friday, September 19, 2025.
Cindy lived a beautiful and fulfilling life. She was born in Coalinga, CA and later moved to Bakersfield, CA where she attended and graduated from West High School.
In 1969 she married Lino Michael Ghilarducci. Cindy was a very strong willed and courageous woman, having survived her 30-year battle with over four different types of cancer, and being under hospice care two different times.
Cindy was a cashier at Vons for 26 years. Her hobbies included working in the yard and maintaining her garden with flowers and succulent plants, shopping in town and on QVC network. She also enjoyed going to her favorite restaurant, Mexicali, and having a blended Margarita. Going to Rosemarys with her family was another favorite activity.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lino Michael Ghilarducci. She also leaves behind her children, Jeff (Mary Cruz), Lee, and Eric Ghilarducci (Anna); her two brothers, Jerry and Larry Barker; sisters-in-law, Lina and Armanda Ghilarducci, Jolynn and Maryann Barker; brother-in-law, Amato Ghilarducci; eleven grandchildren, Colton, Katy, Avery, Paris, Bianca, Jennessica, Justin, Chris, Anders, Sydney, and Carlo; four great-grandchildren, Elias, Sebastian, Joey and Zoey; nieces and nephews, Michael, Erica, Ashley and Lino; and beloved cats, Miss Mumbles and Angel.

Cindy was my best friend when we both lived on Cebrian Street in New Cuyama, California. We went to school together in Cuyama until her family moved away.
She and I stayed in touch after she married and moved to Bakersfield off of Fruitvale. That was when the boys were just very little and she had a VERY protective, black female Doberman.
Unfortunately as the years passed she and I lost touch with each other.
Cindy, I am so sorry to read about your passing .
You were always in my thoughts, but I never could find out how to get in touch with you again.
You left a hole in my heart when I lost touch with you.
I know you are with the lord and I will see you again in heaven one day. Until then my thoughts are with you.
I am planting a and flowers too in memory of you.

May God bless the family in this time of sorrow. I remember Cynthia as smart, pretty and friendly. I´m happy to see she had such a large family that I´m sure loved her dearly. RIP fellow Viking.
