Linda F. Byers 81, was born in Durant, Oklahoma. She was born February 9th 1944 to Euel and Lydia Faye Waldrum. She moved to Porterville at the young age of 18 months where she attended local schools and graduated from Porterville High School. She met the love of her life Terry Byers and was married for over 62 1/2 years. She passed away in Dayton NV, with her family near her side. She loved baking and enjoyed spending time in her yard tending to her plants.
She is survived by her husband of 62 1/2 years, Terry Byers of Dayton, NV, her son Jeff and his wife Sherri of Dayton , NV. She is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Jackson Byers, infant, her parents Euel and Lydia Faye Waldrum Porterville, Ca, brothers Larry Waldrum, Porterville Ca, Don Waldrum Visalia, Ca, and sister Nancy Rogers, Mountain Grove, MO.
No services were held and final resting place is Porterville Cemetery.

Uncle Terry, I just now saw this posted about Aunt Linda. It saddens me to know she passed away. I have the fondest memories of her (and you) when growing up. Especially when I got to spend the night. I´d get to watch the soap operas with her. "Dark Shadows" or "Days of our lives" or both?? Ha! I wish we didn´t live so far apart I would liked to have spent a whole lota more time with her (and you) over the years. She will reside in my heart forever. Much love and sympathy. Jeanie

Terry Thank you for the very kind words. Terry, Jeff and I talked and they remember Jamie and how much Linda loved babysitting. She done it for many years. Terry said to tell you thank you as we all love her and miss her tremendously.
