Nicanor Marroquin Obituary
Nick was born in Los Alvarado, Michoacan Mexico on December 9, 1970 to Nicanor Sr. and Felipa Marroquin. Nick came to California with his parents at the young age of 12. They settled and lived in Terra Bella for 12 years before moving to Porterville. On December 25, 2004 Nick married his love Griselda Medrano. Nick had been employed for NDS in Lindsay for the past 10 years. As a young boy, Nick played soccer he grew up with that passion in his heart and enjoyed watching the sport very much. His favorite team of course "El America." Nick enjoyed spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoyed attending his beloved church La Mision De Jesus. Nick will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Griselda Marroquin, 6 children; Jackie, Yeraldin, Paola, Gisela, Nick and Brian Marroquin all of Porterville, 3 brothers; Victor Marroquin and his wife Gloria, Fransisco Marroquin and wife Madai and Eric Marroquin, 3 sisters; Martha Marin and husband Javier, Lucia Molinero and husband Juan, Rosalba Saldana and husband Jose.
Visitation will begin 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at La Mision De Jesus Church in Porterville, with an evening service at 6:00 pm also at La Mision De Jesus Church. Funeral Service will be 9:00 am Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at La Mision De Jesus Church.
