Pauline Divoll Obituary
During the depression James and Julia moved the family home to Porterville to live on the Zalud family farm where their children all attended Porterville High School. Upon graduating Pauline went on to attend business college in Fresno. When World War II started, she enlisted in the Navy Waves and was stationed in San Francisco, Ca.
In 1953 Pauline met and married the love of her life,Warren R Divoll. They had three children Sharon, Stephan and Jon and made their home in Piedmont, California. Warren and Pauline owned and operated an art gallery, Harcourts, on Union Square in San Francisco. When Warren passed away in 1969 Pauline moved back to Porterville with the children to be near her family.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents James and Julia, siblings John Miner, Gertrude Lindsey, Ida Crabtree. Her husband Warren and son Stephan Divoll.
She leaves a legacy of strength, sense of adventure and love of family to her children and grandchildren. Jon Divoll, Sharon and Mark Shoemaker, Kelly, Jordan and Allison Shoemaker and Breann Divoll.
