Frost, Jr.
Richard "Richie" Frost, Jr., born on April 3, 1971, passed away tragically in an accident on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the age of 53. A man of many passions, Richie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly fishing and caring for his turtles. He was happiest when outdoors and had an immense love for wildlife and animals, big and small. A collector at heart, his many interests included an appreciation for antiques and his treasured marbles. Richie also had a passion for riding motorcycles and a natural talent for tinkering with all kinds of mechanics.
Richie spent his life in the Porterville area and attended Monache High School. He went on to work as a welder. Richie is survived by his loving parents, Joyce and Richard Frost, Sr., and his brother, Kris Frost, and his wife, Cindy. Richie also leaves behind his son, Joey; his beloved aunt, Nancy Taylor; his uncle, Ricky Frost; and his godmother, Judi Serpa.
Richie will be missed dearly by his family who will be holding a small private ceremony to honor and celebrate his life.

Mr. & Mrs. Frost, My sincere condolences to you and your family. Although I hadn't seen or talked to Richie in many, many, years, whenever we did talk, it was like no time had passed at all. I am the son of David Lopez, Mr. Frost, who worked out at Vestal Sub. I still have this memory, clear as Crystal, of a mobile home and a bunch of puppies being around. Richie & I were playing with them, talking about which ones we were gonna keep for ourselves, knowing our Dads wouldn't let us. To this day, I don't know if it was a dream or if it was real, but I figure it was around 1974? I'll have to ask my Dad. I hope you find comfort in your hearts. He will be missed.
