Roberto Villarreal Obituary
Roberto Bobby Villarreal 57. Born June 17, 1967 passed away on May 5, 2025 in Visalia CA with family members by his side. He was a lifelong resident of Porterville. He was employed with the Tulare County Sheriffs department for 31 years. For the past several years he served as a bailiff at the Porterville courthouse. Bobby was always ready to share his somewhat inappropriate wisdom with his nieces and nephews and was always ready to perform his best George Strait at family gatherings. He is survived by his sisters Aracelia, Adriana, Alicia & brothers Jose Jr., Javier, Rojelio and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Gonzala and Jose, two brothers Hector and Joel. The family would like to thank members of the Sheriffs Department and of the Porterville Courthouse for their support and condolences. Services for Roberto will be Friday, May 30, 2025 at Myers Funeral Chapel, viewing is from 9:30 until 11:00 with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. A celebration of life reception will be held at the Porterville Elks Lodge immediately after.

I remember Robert when he started working at Main Jail back in 1994, he was shy at first but opened up quickly. He was a jokester. He then transferred to court in Tulare with my brother David and them two were inseparable from then on, until moving to Porterville. Robert was a good man, condolences for his family, prayers and blessings as well.
