Donald Joseph "Don" Fox, age 85, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Don was born on December 16, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Robert and Dorothy Fox.
He was married to the love of his life, Brenda Kaye Fox of Washington CH in 1968. Together they raised their two sons, Jason and Sean.
At the early age of seventeen, he joined the United States Navy and served on the USS Essex. After spending four years in the navy, he moved to Washington CH and began work at Mac Tools. Eventually, Don started a career in the jewelry business, first at Ross Jewelers as an assistant manager and then manager.
Don went on to open his own jewelry business known as D&B Repairs. From there, he opened a Fox Jewelers store in Hillsboro, Jamestown, and his last one in Washington CH. He was a professional jeweler for over forty years where he worked by the side of his oldest son every day.
Don enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, tinkering in his garage, and spending time with his sons and grandchildren.
Don was a kind, gentle man who always took time to connect with people. He was dearly loved by his family and community.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda; his sons, Jason (Kristle) Fox, and Sean (Cosette) Fox; grandchildren, Jordan, Moriah, Josiah, Elijah, and Inna; and three great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating.
