Donald Lee Joseph, age 90, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025 at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington CH.
He was born on January 9, 1935 in Fayette County to the late Elmer and Minnie (Davis) Joseph. Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired as a guard from the Madison County Correctional Institution. Donald had been a member at the Grace United Methodist Church in Washington CH. He enjoyed mowing lawns, spending time with his family, and was an avid Ohio State, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals fan.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Linda Joseph; his beloved son, Dustin Joseph; granddaughter, Casey Joseph; daughter-in-law, Carol Joseph; and siblings, John, Maynard, Ed, and Bill Joseph, Irene Lipscomb, Bessie Allen, Mae Ireland, Rose Jordan, and Norma Cartwright.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Elaine (Edwards) Joseph, whom he married in August of 1997; son, Don Joseph; grandsons, Matt Joseph, and Wylie Joseph; and daughter-in-law, Becky Joseph. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bloomingburg Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating.
