EVELYN JEAN COTTRILL — The funeral for Evelyn Jean Cottrill, 85, of New Holland, Ohio was held Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland with Pastor Jim Ferrell, chaplain for Berger Hospice, officiating. Pastor Ferrell read tributes that had been written by Jean's granddaughters, Heather Anderson and Lori McCoy. Faith Cottrill gave a tribute in memory of her mother-in-law. Jean's grandson, Chris Cottrill, also gave a tribute and read letters that had been written by Jean's granddaughter, Aimee Lindsey and great grandchildren, Natalie and Nicholas Lindsey.
Pallbearers for the burial in Good Hope Cemetery were Chris Cottrill, Brooks McCoy, Shawn Lindsey, Matt Anderson, Kenny Mac Kirkpatrick and Kyle Dolphin. Jean, who was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Glen Cottrill on April 22, 2014, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Madison County Hospital where she had been admitted April 21.
