Florence Luella Rinehart, 93, of Washington Court House, Ohio, died Friday, December 26, 2025, at 4:45 a.m. at St. Catherine's Manor of Washington Court House where she had been residing since November14.
Florence was born March 7, 1932, at Sabina in Clinton County, Ohio to Lawrence and Lydia Wilburn Allen. She was a graduate of Sabina High School and lived most of her life in Sabina and Washington Court House.
She had formerly worked at Mac Tools, Steele Data Processing and Carroll Halliday, Inc.
Florence enjoyed gardening and canning the food she grew and was proud of her rooster and chicken collection. She devoted her life to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Wendell "Dutch" Rinehart on March 27, 2008.
Florence is survived by four children, Glea Rinehart, Lisa Adkins and her husband, Terry, Juli Penwell and her husband, Brad, and Allen Rinehart, all of Washington Court House; five grandchildren, Chad (Stephanie) Gentry, Lindsay Miller, Ryan (Mandy) Dawes, Jenni (James) Fryer and Trever (Parris Marie Hawkins) Rinehart; eight great grandchildren and several siblings including a special brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence "Dale" and Brenda Allen of Washington Court House.
A private graveside service will be held in the Good Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Adam Allen officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
