The funeral service for James "Jim" M. Bunch, age 68, of Washington CH, was held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anchor Baptist Church with Pastor Christopher Conley officiating.
Military honors were bestowed by the US Marine Corps Honor Guard, the Fayette County Honor Guard, and the Ohio Patriot Guard Riders. Members of the Fayette County Honor Guard included; Chuck Snyder, Mike Curl, Tom Slager, Glenn Rankin, Cliff Puckett, Pat DeWeese, Bob Everhart, and Dave Frederick with Bill Foody serving as commander. The flag of the US Army veteran was folded by two members of the US Marine Corps Honor Guard and was presented to his wife, Linda S. Bunch. Taps were sounded.
Pallbearers for burial at the Washington Cemetery were Jordan Howard, Ryan Bunch, John Morris, Shane Fox, Walt Fox III, Dwayne Fox, Dwight Fox, Doug Rayburn, Zac Wallace, Aaron Barcus, Robbie Teets, G.W. Wallace, Josh Bunch, J.T. Bunch, Jason Bunch, and one honorary pallbearer, Brandon Howard.
Mr. Bunch passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Arrangements were under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
