MARGARET JUANITA COOPER CUNNINGHAM, age 83, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2014 at 6:10 a.m. at the Court House Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on October 7, 1930 in Hammond, Indiana to Martin "Doc" and Lula Olive Riley Cooper. She retired from the Fayette County Memorial Hospital after 20 plus years of service and also the Cudahy Cheese Factory. She had attended the South Side Church of Christ and enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her family.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Jason Robert Rose, brothers Carl Frances Cooper, Byron Cooper and Huey Long Cooper and sister Gladys Jewel Clark.
Survivors include her children Marilyn Cyphers (Bob) Rose of Kentucky, Debbie Cyphers (Jack) Marshall of Washington CH and Tammy Miller McMurray of Springfield; grandchildren Michelle Marshall (Spencer) Bryan, Lea Sanders, Sarah (Curtis) Messer and Jacob Robert (Victoria) Rose; great-grandchildren Braedon Michael Crowe, Caleb Arden Marshall, Kaylee Nevaeh Messer, Aubrey Lane Messer, Summer Reighn Rose, Jadah Rose Fisher and Makayla Abigail Rose; sisters Agnes Cummings of Washington CH and Iona Fern Kelleher of Florida as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends including special niece, Andrea Yankie.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Ray Vance officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11-1 p.m.

So sorry for your loss, I am a home health nurse and Juanita was my very first patient, I really enjoyed caring for her she was so much fun . She was a wonderful person.My thoughts and prayers are with you through this time of sorrow.
