PHYLLIS R. ENGLISH, age 60, of New Holland, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 3:44 a.m. at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 6, 1956 in Zanesville, Ohio to Karl and Connie Brill Farmer. She was the vice-president of New Holland Engineering. She enjoyed music, movies, reading, working and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, Karl Farmer, her husband, Sam English, granddaughter, Chayla Redding, and great-granddaughter, Rowan O'Bryant.
Survivors include her mother, Connie Farmer; her children, Melissa Dewitt (fiancé, Clyde Kelly), Randa (Steven) Redding, and April Leach (Deondrick Young); grandchildren, Kymberley, Tiffani, and Tabitha Simon and Hunner Redding; great-grandchildren, Norah Shiver and Blaze Jenkins; siblings, Debbie Rittenhouse, Steve Farmer, Karla Ackley, and Joyce Jenkins as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Also surviving are her special "extended children", Cassandra and Luke Leach, and special friend and business partner, John Berker.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Dryden Martin officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
