Alice Guirgis, 86, of Stockton, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2007. Born on November 19, 1921 in Cairo, Egypt. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Sabry. She is survived by her son, Wahid Azer and wife, Nadia; daughters, Jeanette, Samia and husband, Nagui, Soheir and husband, Dr. T. Malak, Florance and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Sherif and wife, Mary, Maggie, Marian, Peter, Chris and wife, Angela, Margo, Larry, Paulette, Mark and Sara, as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, June 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mark Church, 315 Orange St., Ripon. Burial will follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mama Alice,
I missed you a lot specially after all the love, hope, and care that you showed it to me always specially after I lost my mom lucy.
you means a lot to me even when you are in heaven with grandpa Sabry, my mom and dad. because your care for me was more that any one else in my life even the true mom. I am sure that you will see all of us in heaven because you teached us how to love God, so see you later in heaven, and please continue all your prayers for me specially and all what you left alone on earth.
I am so glad that our lord granted you the hevenly crown after all the suffer and the thanksful life that you lived in with no complain, and accepting everything with great sperit even in your last days you waited for everyone of your children, grand children, grand grand children to say by mom and teta. we all love you always.
You were the great mom for mary in the land of immegration and she loved you so much.
Also, mark and john will miss teta a lot.
You will be always in our prayers.
