Arthur Eggros Obituary
North Vancouver, Canada
August 16, 1936 - August 13, 2006
Arthur passed away into eternal life with his family by his side at the age of 69 on Sunday, August 13, 2006. He was a long time resident of Stockton until he moved to Canada in 1981. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War also a member of the Aboriginal Veterans Association. He is survived by his ex-wife, Irene Ledesma Hembry; his children, Tina Eggros, Deborah Eggros-Bacaylan, Josephine Gonzales and Victor Eggros (from Stockton). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jesse and Alex, Danny (Madeline Saldua), Daman and David Bacaylan, Diana Stevenson and Kaylanie Gonzales, Victor Jr., Victor, Arthur, Joey, Nicole, Tevin, Brianna, Gabriel Eggros. Great-grandchildren: Jonathen, Miranda, Alyssia, Torrance, Tayana, as well as the Ellsworth and Lano family. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Frank Podesto; sisters, Nancy Nelson and Edna Ellsworth.
He will be remembered by his lifetime stories, generosity to others, his sense of humor and his love for his family, also Mexican food from California and his metals he was honored while serving in the Army. Services will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Chapel in North Vancouver, B.C. on Thursday, August 17, 2006 and burial will be held privately in Victoria, Canada on August 18, 2006. Grandpa, you were a "Big" part of our lives and you will be missed. We Love You! Happy 70th Birthday!

Daddy, I will miss hearing the laughter over the phone, when we would talk to each other and make each other laugh.
