Bennett Lawrence Hellwig, 43, of Lodi, CA, passed away on May 25, 2006 in a local Lodi hospital. Born on October 11, 1962 in Safford, AZ, he was a carpenter for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Hellwig and brother, Jerry Brag Hellwig. Bennett is survived by his father, Jerry Hellwig of Avery and brothers, Bruce Hellwig of Lodi and Bill Van Order of Stockton.
Funeral services are Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way at Beckman Rd., Lodi. Visitation hours are Wednesday, 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

When Ben and I were young with our dear friends Dawn,Randy,Amy,& Jeff we shared a time in our lives that none of us could ever forget. I will remember him as that person for the rest my life and only the happy times that we shared. Rest in Peace.
