Without a doubt Chris had one of the largest influences on my life. Thanks to him I contracted senioritis my sophmore year. That year he taught me how to drive a standard, went on my first trip to Yosemite, egged my first house (it belonged to his ex-girlfriend), and his wedding was the first I had ever been a participant in. I only regret not trying harder to keep in touch after high school.
Sara, my deepest condolenceses are with you.

Joe & I knew Chris through our daughter Myria (Patty) Bretta. They dated in high school. Chris's Mom and dad said Chris and Myria should get married. Though it was not meant to be it told us how much our daughter was thought of. We felt the same way about Chris he was a fine young man. We were glad to hear he had married and had become a Nurse. Our heart felt Sympathy goes out to his family.

My heart goes out to the Erly family. I worked with Chris in the ER at Kaiser, and he was a great guy. I will never forget his huge smile and the way he would always say "Good day my friend". Chris will be missed by me and all of his co-workers.

I went to school with Sara and Kate as well as involved with girl scouts and the band. I found out from a friend that Chris passed away. I told my family and they were shocked. I want to say I'm sorry for your loss and all my thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends. You will surely be missed.

I recently heard of Chris's passing and was overcome with sadness. I have not seen or spoken with Chris in many years but have thought of him at times. Chris and I dated in high school. I cared for him dearly during that time. Our lives seperated after awhile and we both went on to the other things we were meant to do in this life. Chris was such a passionate person and very strong willed. He gave all of himself in everything he did while I knew him. Chris left me with wonderful, fun and some heart stopping memories. I hope that Chris's family is doing well and making it through this difficult time. You are all such wonderful people and my heart hurts for you. My husband Robert also knew Chris before we married and was sad to hear of his passing. He sends his condolences to the family as well.

It has been an honor and a delight skating for "Coach Bob." His passion for roller derby and life, in general, was infectious. Though his light burned only for a short time, it brightened so many lives. My prayers and condolences go out to Sarah, Kate and family.

Chris has been my classmate and co-worker. I am thankful for giving his notes and fighting for alternative right questions during our nursing test. He is also an employee advocate at work. What I know about Chris is that he likes to help people and he have helped alot of people. Thank you and may you help more people wherever you are.

I have not known Chris but for a short time, as my coach and friend with the Valley Vixens, during this time I very much enjoyed his kind spirit and dedication! Rj and I express our deepest sympathies to Chris' family. Rj remembers Chris mostly for his laughter and smile. His most fun time was on Rj's birthday, Chris and Renee picked him up, and somehow ended up stopping a train and getting their car impounded!!! Crazy times! I met Chris last year through roller derby. He had the most infectious laugh and smile. I will never forget sitting up all night in Vegas last summer talking with Chris about everything. No one had more energy. I will miss him very much. My heart goes out to Kate, Sarah and his parents.

I didn't know right away, my mom told me and I was in shock. The last time I saw you was in line at the movies soon after your wedding to Sarah. I remember your craziness, you always had to be moving and doing and you were so excited about life. I remember meeting you after work at In-n-Out late one night, you wanted to tell me about a date you just had with a girl. You thought she was the greatest thing ever. I could tell from your voice that she was the one, so I wasn't surprised when you announced you and Sarah were getting married.
Your kind of energy will never be lost, it moves out into the universe and becomes a bright light. I will miss you too.
