Gloria Conception Obituary
Apr. 24, 1941 - Sept. 22, 2018
Gloria Joyce Conception, 77, of Valley Springs, CA passed away in her home with the love of her family surrounding her on the early morning of Saturday, September 22, 2018. She was born on April 24, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA. She had four children, the late Raymond Leslie Jones Jr. and Michael Raymond Jones, Kirk Raymond Jones, and Lesley Anne Martin, survived her. She was an active member of St. Edward's and St. Andrew's Catholic Churches for more than 40 years, where she previously taught catechism with her best friend of 46 years, Julia Cano. She also was a teacher's aide for mentally and physically disabled children at Stockton Unified School District. She was an outstanding sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; she was a beautiful soul and left her glow in the hearts of many.
The viewing will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Thursday October 4th, 2pm-7pm, Rosary to follow, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA, 95204. Burial will be held at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E Harding Way, CA, 95204. Please Call or text Holly Potter at (209) 601-1010 for further details. Dear sweet Gloria, rest in God's arms. You were a blessing to all who knew you. You taught my kids CCD, for that I am grateful. I will always remember those days co-teaching with you at St. Edward's, and working with you at SUSD. My condolences and love to all of your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all...
