Graham "Gray" Edmund Frost

Graham Edmund Frost passed away peacefully Monday, December 17, 2007 at his home surroun-
ded by his family. Graham is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patti; their four children, Liz Frost Garcia (Bob) of Colusa, CA, Michael Frost (Mary Ann); Linda Halligan (Glen), and Laura Frost Suliven (Alex) of Stockton, CA; their grandchildren Heather Garcia (Armando) and Heidi Sutters, Melanie Holan (Chad) and Mallory and Matthew Frost, Kourtney and Kandace Halligan, and Harlee Suliven; and their great-grandchildren Dominic Mathew Garcia and Cooper Graham Holan.
Gray enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1942, attended College of the Pacific in 1946 and was a proud member of the Rho Lambda Phi fraternity, and worked for the Port of Stockton, Time-D.C. Freight Lines, System 99 Freight Lines, and Commercial Transfer, Inc. He also served as president of numerous civic organizations including the Stockton Quarterback Club, the U.O.P. Alumni Association, and the Stockton Traffic Club. Gray was very pleased with his medical team of Dr. Peter Tuxen, Dr. Eric Braunstein, and Dr. Shiraz Buhari. The ultimate family man, Gray was extremely proud of each and every member of his family; his family was his life. A gathering will be held Sunday, January, 6, 2008, at the home of Gray and Patti from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Gray will be forever in our hearts.

Grandpa... you were the light of my life. your smile made me smile and you were one of the only one's who understood my jokes. i miss you more than any words can describe. i'm so lucky to have another angel watching over me. here's a big hug and a kiss! i love you.

Gray Frost, How could I ever forget you gave me my first job at Luckenbach Steamship Co. at the Port of Stockton. Thanks for believing in me. I am sure you touched many lives as you did mine.

Patti and the entire family, you are in my prayers and thoughts, "Uncle Gray" is missed by many and will be remembered by all who knew him. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of my Dad and Uncle Gray, and of course all of my father's stories. I am sorry I cannot be there in person at this time.

So sorry for all the Frost family and all the friends and neighbors on Seward Way. Gray always had such a dry sense of humor and was there to talk to if a person needed a friend. You are an amazing man that I love with all my heart. You have taught me so much about the meaning of family. You always let us know how proud you were of everything we were doing; you are such a caring man. I am blessed that my son was able to meet his loving greatgrandfather. Having been my brother-in-law for 57 years and carting Kathy and me around while courting Patti, I will deeply miss Gray and his friendly and always good-natured presence. These last 2 years were hard and he continued to try to remain upbeat. May he rest in peace.
