After a seven-year battle with brain cancer, Jason Randell Lacy entered into rest on December 1, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Joanna Lacy and the loving father of Cassandra, Mercedes, Jaylynn and Jason II. He was the treasured son of Craig and Diana Lacy and the devoted brother of Scott (Jennifer) Lacy, Carri (Patrick) Hernandez and Erick (Kim) Lacy. Jason is also survived by numerous grandparents, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and an uncle.
Jason grew up in Rio Vista, graduating in 1989. He was an outstanding basketball and baseball player winning numerous awards. He also enjoyed playing co-ed softball.
A celebration of Jason's life will be held on Sunday, December 13th at the 401 Club located at 401 Montezuma Street in Rio Vista from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please bring your favorite dish and enjoy the music, food and football. Attire is casual and you are encouraged to wear the jersey of your favorite football team. Please come and help us celebrate Jason's life. He was 39 years old.
