Mrs. Boelter,

My heartfelt sympathy and caring thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

Dr. Boelter has left a legacy with those whose lives he has touched. Not only was he my favorite professor, but he was my mentor as well. From my student days at UOP, I will never forget the time that I went on a road trip with him down to Southern California for a conference. Even though it was a quick turnaround trip, he found the time to meet and have dinner with my parents. He always made time for his students. I’ll always be greatful for his kind manner and words of encouragement.

To the Boelter Family,

I am saddened by your loss and want to convey my deepest sympathy and prayers.

Dr. B changed my life and I witnessed the positive impact he had on many other people as well. He was a fabulous professor, a caring mentor, and a great motivator - who sparked curiosity in my mind and always tempted me to think creatively.

I am very thankful to have known him.

Dear Mrs. Boelter and family,

Please accept my deepest sympathy during this very difficult time. I not only am an employee of UOP, but 10 years prior to coming to the university, I had the opportunity to work with John while I was employed with UCP during the time that he was the UCP Board President. John was one of the most caring and considerate people that I have every known. I will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God bless each and everyone of you.

Dear Kristen and family,

I was so sorry to hear of John's death. We haven't seen each other in a very long time; not since we worked together at the American Cancer Society and Krissy and Megan took gymnastics together. I just wanted you know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Penny (Kean) Rossiter
