Al & Faye Nelson, may God comfort you during this sorrowful time. Kevin was a proud grandson and loved you so much. He spoke of you often to me and so proud to call you his grandpa & grandma. He spoke of the days when he would come home from school he and his brother and grandma would always be there to make him a after school snack. He spoke of the love he and his brother Jeffery felt for you and how greatful they were to have the most wonderful grandparents and knew they were really loved and cared for by you both. Not long ago Kevin and I had dinner with each other and he spoke of how much he loved being with you and taking his son Kevin Jr. to spend time with you. I wanted you to know how special you were to Kevin and I know he showed you on a daily basis! We all will miss him.

Cousin...I am sure going to miss you. I can still remember all the fun we had when we were kids and the stunts we pulled you, Jeff and I. Sorry we had not had time to hang out... it is hard with me being working in the SF but just know that I will take care of your brother Jeff for you and keep him in line! :-) Love you Kevin! Sure going to miss your smile and charm. You always did get all the pretty girls and left me in the dust! I guess you were more of a chamer than me!

Mr. & Mrs. Nelson ~ Kevin talked about you all the time and he loved you so much. He told me many times that you were like parents not grandparents! He told me of his first car you bought him and he thought he was really hot stuff running around in that little honda hatchback. He loved calling his grandma daily and I heard many of his conversations while we worked together. He always told me he had the best of the best grandparents and did not know what he would have done without you all the years. I think Kevin is in a better place right now and he will look down and watch over you and his son Kevin Jr. He adored his son and I know that was truly his best friend. Know that God will comfort you in this time of your sorrow! We all will miss Kevin and I know your heart must be heavy! Kevin would want you to be happy and know that he is still here in spirit with you and will always be.

Kevin, I am going to miss you so much! You were like my big brother. I have so many fond memories of driving around in your honda, deer hunting and raising hell, making people mad;even my mom and dad for when I ran away from home and you hid me and my car.(Although no one could ever stay mad at you for very long) I love you and I will always be there for little Kevin like you were for me. I am so glad we got to spend Christmas together, it's not the last it's just for a while until we meet again. Love Your Cousin Steven Abernathy

Kevin,
I'm sorry we didn't get to see each other the last few years.
I'll never forget all the fun times we spent together as kids.
Especially all the trips to Al's market for Ice Cream and Candy Cigarettes! All the New Year's eve's banging pots and pans at midnight. Thanks for the memories. Rest in peace my cousin.

Kevin, I Love and Miss you so very much.My heart is so heavy at the thought of never seeing your smile again or hearing your voice. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Gore family, especially Fred and Debra. We shared our Love for Kevin and I know we share our grief.Kevin is gone but I promise you he will never be forgotten. Life is not measured by the breath we take but by what takes our breath away, and from the day Kevin was born he did just that.He could take your breath away with that smile and that twinkle in his eye.Kevin was more than just my nephew,he was my best friend, and he will forever be in my heart as is Kevin Jr.

Kevin! You will be so missed by all of us! I am so happy I got to be with you Friday night and got a hug and kiss from you like always when you would leave us. I never imagined when I closed the door and you said "See you later Aunt Carol" that it would be my last time to see your smile. I loved you and have such fond memories of you when you were a little boy! I know you knew that we all loved you even when we all had our ups and downs! We will take care of Little Kev for you and make sure he has what he needs in life the best we can. Thanks for all the smiles, hugs and good memories you left us with. Forever in my heart you will be!

To Everyone suffering such a huge loss I am so sorry you have lost such a wonderful man. I only knew Kevin a short time, working together at J & D in Lodi. He was so fun to be around. He was always in such a good mood, singing and joking all the time. I just knew we would end up being friends for a long time, I will never forget him. The one blessing in all of this is that he is in a much better place! God Bless all of u.
