I owe much of what I am and have today to Lee. I am a General Contractor and rental property owner because of what I learned from Lee.
He gave me my first job and was the father figure I was lacking in my life at that time. He was one of the most honest, hard working and respected men I have ever known and I will be eternally grateful for having known him.
My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Janie and Family,
We wanted to let you know our thoughts are with you all during this sad time. Lee was as unique a fellow as my Uncle Bill and what a blessing that they had the opportunity to have so many great times together. I remember when you came to Oklahoma and it was like meeting old friends of mine - I had heard so many wonderful stories.
You are a beautiful lady and I know from talking to Don that the last few have been difficult. I know your hearts are broken as you miss the man he was. Your heart is full of wonderful memories - 62 years is amazing. I hope those memories will bring you great comfort in the days and weeks to come. Feel the blessings of having shared in a life so well-lived and remember he will always be with you in your heart.
I know it's been 30 years, but sometimes it just seems like yesterday when we had those fun, football get togethers and I know you have many wonderful memories of your trips to Mexico. For those who have loved deeply and shared so much, I think the grief is great.
Our thoughts will remain with you and we pray for your peace and comfort. Please keep in touch with Don - I know he loves to hear from you.
Take care and know that we send hugs to you and your family.
Love,
Donna Jo Ethridge Parks, Don Ethridge and Johanna Ethridge
