Dear John and Harriet,

John, Jim and families,
I'm so sorry to hear about Aunt Maddie's passing. I have many happy and funny memories of her. The annual Christmas gift exchange with my dad (ridiculous gag gifts), Aunt Maddie and her sisters singing and dancing at family gatherings (this must be a Wallior thing because my sisters and I do the same thing), spending the night at her house and waking every hour because of that darn cuckoo clock, laughing until we cried (among other things) because of the effects of her famous bean soup, and many more. She was a character and will be remembered for many years to come. I'm sorry I can't be there due to the distance, but my thoughts and prayers will be with you on Monday when Aunt Maddie is laid to rest. She is now reunited with her dear Oscar and parents and siblings. May she rest in peace and God bless her.
Sincerely,
Your cousin Theresa
