Magdalena Cisneros passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in Lodi. Magdalena was born on June 28, 1924 in Juchitlan, Mexico to Gonzalo and Elidia Huerta. Magdalena and her husband Porfirio owned and operated Mi Ranchito restaurant in Stockton until the early 70's and Porfi's Mexican Restaurant. She loved to tend to her garden daily, and enjoyed cooking delicious meals for her family. She was a devout member of St. Anne's Church and was involved in the rosary maker's ministry.
She is survived by her children: Enriqueta DeSantiago of Stockton, Porfirio (Linda) Cisneros of Lodi, Laura Hidalgo of Lodi, Guillermo (Sylvia) Cisneros of Stockton, Patricia (Fernando) Vasquez of Stockton; grandchildren, Sean, Audra, Porfi, Olivia, Danielle, Brian, Adrian, Christopher, Leandra, Steven, Danielle V.; great-grandchildren Akayla, Anthony, Aidan, Laila, Sebastian, Gabriel; sister Mercedes Munoz. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Porfirio Cisneros.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Monday, October 4 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, October 4th, at 7 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5th at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A virtual guestbook may be sign where memories may be shared at www.lodifuneralhome.com.
