Stockton - Myles Matthew Richards Griffin, of Stockton, CA, was born in 1982 to Frank and Patti Griffin. On April 23, 2021 he unexpectedly passed away, at the age of 39, surrounded by his loved ones. Myles was a graduate of Bear Creek HS after which he attended California State University Long Beach. He then completed his bachelor's degree in Communications at Stanislaus State University. For 9 years Myles worked for his fathers' general contracting company. He was a member and a bartender at the Stockton Elks Lodge #218.
Myles' life should be measured by how he spent his time, not by how much time he had. His loving and generous heart was open to all he knew. Friends became family and he put family above all. Myles loved to make you smile and everyone else always came first. Whatever you needed, he was there. He touched so many lives in so many ways. He will always be remembered for his kindness, giving nature and smile.
He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Ashley Griffin, his mother Patti Griffin, his brother Justin Griffin (Brianne), and his 2 nieces Riley and Sophie Griffin. Myles was preceded in death by his father, Frank Griffin, his grandparents Arnold and Ruth Griffin, grandparents James and Patricia Richards, aunt LaDoska Diane Griffin and cousin Lisa Parker. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for a Final Final.
