Ralph A. Lira "Krusty" passed away peacefully in Lodi, Friday, August 10, 2007. Mr. Lira moved to Stockton from San Jose four years ago. He attended Lincoln High School in San Jose and played football in the "Big Bone Game". He was a 25-year member of local 393 Plumber & Steam-fitters and a member of AA. He met the love of his life, Geri and they married July 4, 1994 in Monterey, CA. Ralph loved kids, birth-days, Halloween, sports, the 49ers, the S.F. Giants and watching his son, Alec play baseball and soccer. Most of all, he loved to be "Krusty the Clown" from the "Simp-sons". His smile will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Geri Lira; sons, Andrew Mirelez, Anthony Lira and Alec Lira; dogs, Cabo and Ruby; his dearest adopted sister, Vita; loving brother, Victor; dearest friend, Betty and brother, Frank Lira and wife, Debbie and their children, Frankie Jr., Jennifer and John. Also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins; extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Rafael Lira and mother, Rachel Lira.
Viewing and services will be held Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mission Memorial Foothills, 30 Kirk Ave., San Jose. A reception will immediately follow behind the chapel.
