Rebecca Rubio, 79, a native of California, beloved wife of Carlos E. Rubio. Loving mother of Lena Ponce, Joseph Rubio, Becky Reyes, Leo Rubio, Virginia Khan and the late Carlos Rubio Jr. Also survived by other relatives.
A funeral procession will leave Chapel of the Palms F.H. on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. thence to Rural Cemetery for a Graveside Service at 11:00 a.m. An evening prayer service will be Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Palms Funeral Home, 303 S. California St., Stkn., Visitation will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

FIRST I WILL LIKE TO SAY THAT MY GRANDMA WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART AND SHE WILL NEVER BE REPLACED IN MY HEART. BUT THERE IS GOING TO BE A EMETY SPOT IN MY HEART.YOU MAY THING THAT SHE IS GONE BUT SHE ANT BECAUES SHE LEAF WITH UNFINSHED BUSINES AND SHE WONT LEAVE INTILL SHE IS DONE WITH ALL THE THINGS THAT SHE WANTED TO DO BEFOR SHE LEAFT. P.S. THE LORD IS MY SHEPERD AND I SHALL NOT WANT HE MAKES ME LIE DOWN IN THE GREEN PASTERD LEADS ME BY THE STILL WATERS AND HE RESTOREDS MY SOUL.

There are not enough words to explain how precious my grandma was to me, but if I had to use only one word it would be that she is Irreplaceable to me in so many ways. She taught me valuable lessons on day to day situations, she gave me advice on everything, and there was nothing I couldn’t ask her. She taught me that nothing is impossible to accomplish as long as you have faith. The love for my grandma will never be replaced and she will be missed daily.

In our lives we meet and get to know many people. There are truly only a few who have made deep imprints on my heart. My tia Rebecca was one of them. She was a beautiful strong generous Christian woman who walked the walk she talked and was a example of her belief in God. She was kindhearted, worked hard, a protector of her children, a faithful lifelong partner to her husband, a friend to her neighbors, and an example to those who knew her. One of the best memories I have of her was her generosity. Everytime I went to see her she always had to feed me, something. "Come on let me make you a little burrito" she would say. She always sent me home with something. I would never leave empty handed. Her children and grandchildren were truly blessed to have so many years with her. God bless you my dear tia and may your mansion in heaven have lots of fruit trees and little homes nearby to prepare for all your loved ones to keep them close by.

My deepest sympathy is for my grandpa and the family. Grandma was always smiling and never feared the worst. She had an angel watching over her when she was here, now she is an angel watching over us. There are no worries she will prevail. I love you all deeply.
