Richard Harrison Obituary
May 24, 1945 - Sept. 5, 2018
Dick Harrison, born on May 24, 1945 in Stockton, California, to the late Ardith Goodwin Harrison and the late Bruce Harrison, passed away at age 73 on September 5, 2018 in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He was the owner/partner at Harrison's Auto Electric from 1970 until retiring in 2008.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Gail Harrison; daughters, Rebecca Sem (Somara) of Stockton, California and Kimberly Buss (Shane) of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; brothers, David Harrison (Joy), Joel Harrison (Barbara), and Ted Harrison (Lori); and grandchildren, Brayden Buss and Cooper Buss. He was preceded in death by his dogs Boo & Sam, He also leaves behind his dog, Bentley. Dick had a passion for racing, fishing, and sailing. He especially enjoyed racing at 99 Speedway in Stockton for many years.
The family invites donations in Dick's name to The Caring Place, 101 Quapaw, Hot Springs, AR 71901. There will be a Victory Lap in his honor at Delta Speedway on Saturday Night October 6, 2018. Friends and family can also pay their respects at the memorial service on Sunday, October 7th at 12pm at Angelinas, 1563 E. Fremont, Stockton. CA

Our condolences, John & Thomas Dougherty. Dick was our shipmate on Sea Scout Ship Vernon Anderson SS13, Where Bruce his father was our Engineering Officer. Many happy memories sailing the Delta together.

Dick was one of our Sea Scout Ship 13 Crew. Dick was there scrubbing,painting and helping his father repair the engines and the mechanical gear on our 65 foot "Ship".Rest on your oar Dick. Even though we havn't communicated for years, Love you , Miss you. Tom Dougherty
