Richard Schleder Obituary
Stockton - Richard Herman Schleder, 83, passed on June 21, 2021 at his home in Stockton, Ca. Born to John Bernard and Agnes Abina (née Terry) Schleder in Iowa City, Rich was a Stockton resident for 70 years and small business owner of Valley Saw and Knifeworks before retiring. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp., loved classic cars and lounging in the backyard lanai with his cat Felix. Rich is preceded in death by his beloved Mary Jo Demele and survived by daughter Cathy Rochelle (Ron) Maland of Manteca, CA and son Joseph Alan (Suzanne) Schleder of Stockton, Ca; his grandchildren Elizabeth Ann Schleder of Valley Village, CA and Nicholas Joseph Schleder of Stockton, CA; his sister Kathleen Branch of Lake Hazasu, AZ and brother Steve Schleder of Kona, Hi; In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Catholic Charities Senior Services .
