Bob was born in Stockton, CA and passed away in Roseville, CA after a lengthy battle with diabetes and congestive heart failure. He was preceded in death by his father, Senon, mother Felicia Nunez, stepfather, Charles Nunez Jr., older brother Patrick and younger brother John. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeanine, daughters Christina (Joe) Clark, Joanna (Adam) Reed, and son Robert Bobby Palacioz. He also leaves behind his three sisters, Ramona, Carol Ann and Libby, brother Thomas and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob attended Lottie Grunsky Elementary School before completing his primary schooling at St. Gertrude's Catholic School. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1970 and went on to earn his Associate of Arts degree from Delta College. He moved to Sacramento, CA in 1976 where he began a career in the lumber business with Lumberjack Stores before ultimately retiring from Thunderbolt Wood Treating Co. as the head of sales. A gifted cook, Bob would prepare the Mexican recipes he learned from his mother to satisfy the appetites of family and friends. He truly enjoyed family gatherings and especially enjoyed retirement when he would help out with the care of his five grandchildren. Bob was active with the Village West Yacht Club and served on the board as a director and as the Rear Commodore.

A Mass was held at Divine Savior Catholic Church in Rocklin on March 19th of this year. The family would like to extend and invitation to his local Stockton friends and family for a celebration of life and the traditional nautical eight-bells ceremony at the Village West Yacht Club, 6633 Embarcadero Drive, Stockton on Sunday, September 16th, 2018 beginning at 11am
