Born to the late Robert and Epfania in Guadalupe Makati, P.I., Ruben is survived by his loving wife, Lendis Dideles Ripoyla of Stockton. Preceded in death by his siblings, Francisco, Lunding, Bicsitation,

Caesar and Nora. He is survived by siblings, Issac of Stockton, Rebecca of San Pablo, Ezequil of Seattle; sister-in-law, Maria Ripolya of Stockton; his daughters, Cynthia Sosa and Amelia of Stockton and Myrna of the P.I., Renee Cano, Roxann Cano and Danny Cano Jr. of Stockton and Terry Cano (deceased). Ruben is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Ruben was a loving, kind and spiritual husband, father and grandfather. He was a hardworking man. He took his family responsibilities seriously and was always willing to help family and friends. Reuben enjoyed fishing and cooking. We will always remember Ruben as a friendly, happy and hardworking man.

Viewing will be Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Palm Funeral Home, 303 S. California St., Stockton. Graveside services and committal will be Wednesday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Rural Cemetery, Stockton.
