Agnes Catherine Levandowski Kraft formerly of Middletown, died following a long illness on Thursday, September 3, 2009 in Palm Bay, FL. She was 74.

The daughter of the late Leo and Catherine DeLong Levandowski, she was born on April 18, 1935 in Nyack, NY.

Agnes' education included St. Joseph's School in Middletown, the Ursiline Academy of the Sacred Heart, and St. John's High School in Goshen.

She worked for the Ramapo Catskill Library System as an office clerk and typist until her retirement.

Agnes was a member of St. Joseph's Church where she also served as an organist for her parish for many years. She relocated to Palm Bay, FL in 1998 to be closer to her sister and family.

Agnes is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, and their families. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her dear sister, Amelia Guarino, earlier this year.

Visitation hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 11, at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 113 Cottage St., Middletown, NY. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Middletown.
