Andrea Lefkovits Obituary
Andrea Nadle Lefkovits, age 59, of Atlanta, GA, died on Friday, December 25, 2009, surrounded by her family.
Andi was born and raised in Newburgh, NY, the youngest daughter of Harold and Leona Nadle.
Andrea (Andi) went to Northampton School for Girls and graduated from Boston University. Andi was married for 38 years to the love of her life, Tomas.
She is survived by her husband; her children: David and Lisa Lefkovits, Marc Lefkovits, Jeremy and M'Lee Lefkovits; her six grandchildren: Gaby, Carina, Benny, Matthew, Owen and Vivian; her two sisters, Karen Joyce of Palm Coast, FL and Barbara Scherr of Newburgh, NY.
Andi was very active in her community, but her biggest commitment was to her family. She will always be remembered as the loyal and trustworthy friend who cared for others.
In her memory, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fragile Kids Foundation, 3350 Riverwood Parkway, Suite 1400, Atlanta, GA 30339.

Andi was a extraordinary woman with an uncanny ability to inspire optimism in the face of defeat. She helped me make my journey through very difficult times and for that I will always be grateful. She inspired me and my husband to find strength and joy in even the most dismal of situations. Her friendship, kindness and generosity will always be with us. We love you and miss you Andi. There is one more star in the sky this night.

Andi will always be a part of my memories of Northampton School for Girls. She was a very special friend. She was a generous, kind and true friend - a beam of light when life became tough. My sympathies go to her family. She was much to young to have left this earth.

Andi was one of my best friends at Northampton. She was beautiful inside and out. Her smile could light up a room. I can still remember her wedding day and her outdoor wedding. She was radiant and so in love. I am so saddened that she is gone. Tomas, children and grandchildren, please accept my deepest condolences. I know Andi will be terribly missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Andi's passing. We grew up together in Newburgh & I spent many hours at her house with her parents & sisters. We went to Northampton together & shared many happy times.I am sorry that we lost contact over the years. My deepest condolences to all the family.. My prayers & thoughts are with you
